Richard Hunt founded Turnkey Consulting in London with a clear purpose — to bring high-quality specialist expertise to SAP security and GRC at a time when most organizations were underserved by generalist consultancies. What started as a small team in London grew into a global operation over the next two decades.

Six years in, our GRC credentials earned formal recognition from SAP — making us one of the first niche consultancies to receive GRC partner status. It was an early signal that our focused, independent approach was resonating with clients and technology partners alike.

Our growing reputation and track record of delivery earned SAP Silver Partner recognition — a meaningful endorsement of the quality, knowledge, and experience we brought to every engagement. It strengthened our position as a trusted voice in the SAP security and GRC space.

As the security perimeter shifted and client needs evolved, we expanded our capabilities to include Identity and Access Management. It was a natural extension — the same rigorous, technology agnostic approach applied to a growing area of enterprise risk. IAM quickly became a core part of what we offered.

Recognizing that clients needed ongoing support beyond project delivery, we launched Bedrock — a managed service offering designed to keep security programs strong long after go-live. Bedrock reflected our deep commitment to client success, providing the kind of continuous, expert support that most consultancies simply can’t provide.

Our global footprint reached eight offices across EMEA, APAC, and the Americas — bringing local understanding and international perspective to clients around the world. Despite the geographic spread, our commitment remained constant: the same depth of experience, the same independence, and the same investment in client success.

Two decades is a significant milestone in any industry. In one as fast-moving as enterprise security, it marked real resilience and relevance. We celebrated 20 years by doubling down on what made us different: integrity, expertise, and an unwavering focus on client outcomes over commercial convenience.
